We understand customer concerns regarding buying instruments online. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
You should own an instrument that you really want, and it should be easy and fun to find it.
All of our instruments are carefully tested, inspected, and expertly packed and shipped to you. We are confident you'll find your Luthier's Pride guitar to be great sounding and a great value, because we want you as a client for life.
If it's necessary to return a guitar purchased from our in stock inventory:
You always have 30 days after the date you receive your instrument to return it, and try another instrument or receive a full refund.
This return policy applies to all instruments sold on our website, unless otherwise specified.
Refunds are issued after the instrument is received and inspected by us, and are issued in the same form as payment was received by us. Instrument must be in it's original condition and cases.

Custom orders are built to the exact desires of the purchaser and so every effort will be made on our part to satisfy your request.
Due to the personal nature of these requests, Luthier's Pride reserves the right to inform the buyer in advance of his order being accepted that we will accept only limited liability.
If the order is a matter of "normal" choices such as Tone Woods, Neck Widths ect. then Luthier's Pride will accept returned guitars and refund 75% of the purchase price when you follow the same rules as above.
If a defective item fails within 12 months of purchase and it has not been damaged due to neglect or improper care, we will repair or replace it free of charge to you. Strings are not warrantied.
Pre-Owned and Vintage instruments are guaranteed to remain in playable condition, unless damaged or destroyed by improper care or neglect after the sale, for one year; we will repair them free of charge once shipped to us, fully insured.
Any previous repairs made by Luthier's Pride to a vintage instrument are guaranteed for as long as you own the instrument; if a previous repair fails, we will repair it free of charge when shipped to us fully insured, or we will credit to you 100% of your original purchase price, less shipping, toward another instrument of equal or higher price.
Trade-In
We offer 100% trade-in on any hand-crafted guitar purchased from Luthier's Pride when it's returned to us in original condition.
There is no "buyer's remorse" here.
Trade-in must be for an instrument of higher value than the original purchase.
A modest 5 percent restocking fee and shipping charges will apply. Of course, any damages or wear will reduce the value of the instrument. We also must set up the instrument to pristine condition. Usually at minimum, we will need to replace the strings and perform an inspection and "Set up." These services are done for a reasonable amount and will be charged against the purchase of your new instrument.
One trade up for each original purchase. If the instrument was purchased with our No Interest Payment Plan, the total monies due on any outstanding balance must be paid in full prior to trade in.
